Event Bio

The challenge for 2014 is to complete a non-stop round Britain coastal ride on a Royal Enfield Bullet 500cc motorcycle. Think of it as a relay race with each rider completing their section, then handing over to the next rider using the same motorcycle. The bike will only stop for fuel and for the changeovers.

The big challenge here is organisation. If we get it wrong in any way, a rider is not at their designated change over point, the bike runs out of fuel or if it breaks down, then the challenge is unlikely to succeed.

The coastal route is around 4,500 miles, with a provisional start date of Monday 11th August 2014, starting from and finishing at The Golden Mile in Blackpool. It is to be completed in the shortest possible time whilst obeying all speed limits and traffic laws.
